GP Batteries integrates the inherent sustainable nature of rechargeable batteries into the new Recyko brand image, symbolising the start of a new era of rechargeable batteries with a new logo, product range and visual brand experience. To celebrate this milestone, GP Batteries announces the launch of Recyko Charge 10, the world’s fastest charger*, which charges 4 pieces of its Charge 10 batteries in just 10 minutes**, which is up to three times faster than the fastest chargers of other leading brands*.
As the pioneer of rechargeable batteries, GP Batteries is dedicated towards developing more sustainable sources of power. The Recyko rechargeable batteries range first debuted in 2007 and the product line has now developed to cover batteries, chargers and a Pro range designed for power-intensive equipment. All Recyko batteries are made in GP Batteries manufacturing facilities that have achieved Zero Waste to Landfill (ZWTL) Validation from UL, and 94%+ of the entire battery pack (including the box) for all Recyko battery products can be recycled.
The new brand identity of Recyko is a concept co-developed with Scandinavian branding agency Kontrapunkt/Everland. The brand’s new visual device, the green circle, appears in the logo as well as on products and packaging - representing the circular, more sustainable mindset required to rethink everyday energy.

The new logo and brand identity of Recyko will begin to be rolled out across markets.
As part of the new Recyko brand launch, GP Batteries is pleased to introduce the world’s fastest charger*, Recyko Charge 10. It sports an ultra-compact design which is substantially smaller than other fast chargers due to a built-in power adapter, making it easy to carry on the go. Despite its compact size, Charge 10 comes with several significant breakthrough features – Charge 10 uses a unique charging algorithm which optimises the charging current so that the batteries are charged in the fastest possible time, depending on the individual battery type, condition, and temperature. This is done in a safe way and with an innovative cross-flow cooling fan that distributes cool air evenly and quietly to avoid overheating.
The newly launched Charge 10 is the flagship product of the new Recyko range. It is ultra-fast, convenient and sustainable, and can save the environment from thousands of batteries and harmful waste. All Recyko products feature plastic-free, recycled paper packaging to support the concept of a more sustainable lifestyle.
